This location is right across from Chapman University and it is outdoors. You order your food at the counter, find a table, and they will call out your name when your food is ready and bring the food directly to you. Wait time wasn't bad, but it wasn't busy at all when I went (Around 9:30am on a Sunday). Waffles were the highlight; Light and airy, with a slight crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside! The burrito was good; they actually put a decent amount of chicken. If you happen to be in the area and are craving chicken & waffles, I think it's worth a try for a quick bite.

Stopped here for lunch last week while dropping my daughter off for school at Chapman University. It looked inviting and there was a modest line to order; busy but not too busy. I ordered the Holy Chicken and my wife order a grilled chicken salad. While I was still getting myself situated my wife, who is usually unimpressed when trying new places, took a few bites of her salad and exclaimed, "This is good...REALLY good". That shocked me a bit because she usually says most food is "ok" and follows with a comment on how it could've been better. There was no such comment, only praise between further mouthfuls. I then bit into my Holy Chicken and immediately understood why it was named as such; I darn near caught the Holy Ghost at first bite! The waffle was crispy on the outside yet the perfect soft yet not too soft consistency within. The chicken was AMAZINGLY flavorful. Every bite was better than the next as the chicken, egg, maple, siracha, and other flavors blended. It was, without question, the best sandwich of its kind that I've ever had. Time would not allow me to visit again while in California, but believe me I was looking for every reason to. Immediately upon returning to the East Coast I googled the nearest Bruxie to me, which is a 570 mile drive...that I'm seriously considering making next weekend.

I have been eyeing this place for years now, we have finally stopped in tonight for dinner and I am so upset that we didn't come sooner. This place is delicious and super casual! Service is good, people were sweet but the orders do take some time to come out although they were swamped!! We had the strawberry lemonade and it's free refills when you dine in, super cute outdoor seating too that is perfect for a little night time dinner date. I highly recommend mixing in some water (free fills towards the back too) it is EXTREMELY sweet! I was smacked in the face with the amount of sugar but it did taste good just needed to be watered down slightly to my liking. I ordered the grilled chicken blt with ranch waffle sandwich sans the bacon. It was so evenly balanced with veggies and protein. I absolutely loved it and plan to order again! My husband got the honey hot fried chicken bun sandwich, I seriously can't believe how we have been missing out on this. It was SO GOOD. I'm full right now and wishing I could just have another bite of that sandwich. I'm counting the days until we come back so I can get my own. He ordered it with the spicy tots which were also perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This place is truly comfort food and a great spot to come late night for a hangout.

Their tenders have so much flavor - cant go wrong with their two piece. Good size of food for lunch. I always ask for a side of their cheese sauce - so good on their fries and tenders. I pre order online if in a rush. Sometimes the wait for food can take a while. But worth it!

Super juicy crispy flavorful chicken tenders! We didn't get the waffles this time but def will get it next time! The service is great the girl that brought us the food was extremely cheerful and friendly. The chicken itself was very tender and a the crispy outside wasn't overly seasoned but very fragrant/nice aroma. I couldn't wait to dig into my food. The waffle fries were also really good.

Nostalgic Bliss at Bruxie's: A Waffle Wonderland Returning to Bruxie's in Orange, CA was like stepping into a delicious time machine back to my college days. This brunch spot, a longtime favorite, proved that some things only get better with time. I dove straight into the Holy Chicken Sandwich - their Nashville hot chicken waffle creation, amped up with an egg and bacon. It's a beautiful mess of a meal, with the crispy, fiery chicken nestled between golden waffles, drizzled with just the right amount of honey to balance the heat. Each bite was a perfect storm of flavors and textures - crunchy, spicy, sweet, and savory all at once. Fair warning: napkins are your best friend here. To combat the 100-degree weather (and the Nashville heat), I paired my sandwich with a cookies and cream shake. This creamy concoction was the ideal cool-down companion, rich and indulgent without being overly sweet. The tater tots on the side were far from an afterthought. Clearly fresh out of the fryer, they were perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned with a deft hand. They're the kind of tots that make you wonder why you ever settled for the soggy cafeteria version. Bruxie's atmosphere remains as inviting as ever, striking that perfect balance between casual and vibrant that makes it equally suitable for a quick solo brunch or a lively catch-up with friends. The service is definitely noteworthy as the servers are constantly making sure that you are receiving the best treatment with the best food While it may not be an everyday indulgence (unless you're blessed with a superhuman metabolism), Bruxie's continues to deliver a unique and satisfying brunch experience. It's comfort food elevated to an art form, proving that sometimes, the best new experiences are the old favorites revisited.

Everything is waffles! Everything is cool when you're going to eat... Parking is limited on site but there is plenty of street parking around (well maybe when school isn't in session). It's on the corner across from Chapman University. You can call, order online or in person. Had to order online on Yelp as the kids knocked out (didn't want to interrupt their Piano playlist. Parked nearby while we waited for our order and drove up as soon as it was ready (not as accurate as one would like). They have an area for online pick up orders and servers on hand. Plenty of seating outdoors with shade from the SoCal Sunshine. Tots and nuggets were good (I had to take off the skin for the kids, dad duties). You can order the tots without seasoning (I should've). Wish I could've tried the sandwich right when it was freshly out, but kids go first. The syrup sauce along with the cold slaw and bacon (extra $) made it very flavorful. Maybe next time we'll be able to feast on the bird there.
